There can be few slope soaring enthusiasts who will not have heard of La Muela, in Northern Spain. It has a couple of unique selling points - easy access and suitability for all wind speeds and directions. It also happens to be located in a landscape full of drama.
This year we went in late May, skipping the Easter competition for some pure sport flying.
