Report by Mark Redsell (pinched from BARCS forum - thanks Mark)

A very enjoyable couple of days on a super slope at Eastbourne.

The weather forecast suggested challenging conditions and this materialised with some very variable air affecting everyone over the two days (especially on Sunday).

The wind speed was very promising early on Saturday but gradually tailed off to nothing as the wind swung round 180 degrees, but seven rounds flown was a good result for the day.

Sunday started light and variable, quickly becoming even more patchy and switching between sink and thermic air, adding a high degree of jeopardy to the proceedings. Three rounds flown though before calling it a day.

Very pleased personally to defend the title, having flown the FS5 and FS6 in an equal number of rounds over the two days. Congrats to the podium and great to see William hold on for 3rd having been pipped on the Sunday with Peter showing really good form in the tricky conditions.

Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable couple of days, and especially to Allen, Mike and JP for organising and keeping things running very smoothly.
